How Findwell works

Pick your state and whether you are an individual or an organization. Findwell shows national resources plus your state's, grouped by what you need: crisis and safety, shelter and housing, legal and protection orders, health, financial help, and more.

Each card is plain language: what it offers, who it is for, and a link straight to the organization's own page. Funding cards also show how to apply and the deadline.

Findwell does not collect your information and does not apply on your behalf. It points you to the official source for every resource. National crisis lines are always shown, wherever you are. Shelter and confidential locations are never published here; we link to the organization instead.

Your privacy

Findwell is a static site. It has no account, no login, and no analytics or tracking. It does not store what you search for and does not collect your information. Nothing you do here is sent to us. Here, collecting nothing is a safety feature.

How we handle safety

National crisis and support lines are shown for everyone, wherever you are. Findwell never publishes shelter locations or other confidential addresses; it links to the organization's own page instead. An address is shown only for genuinely public offices, such as legal aid or a courthouse, and only when the organization already lists it publicly. Every covered state carries a dated, sourced note on how protection orders work there. A Quick exit button is on every page; it sends you to a neutral site and replaces this page in your history.

Coverage

National resources are shown for all 50 states and DC. State and local detail, including the protection-order note, is verified state by state; 51 states have full state-level coverage so far. If yours is not complete, tell us.

On accuracy

Resources are checked periodically against their official source. Details, amounts, and deadlines change. Confirm the current information on the official page before you rely on it.
