Colorado Attorney General Victim Assistance
The Attorney General's Victim Assistance program provides information and support to victims of violent crime in cases handled by the office, including referrals to counseling and to victim compensation, and supports enforcement of Colorado's Victim Rights Act (VRA). The VRA guarantees that crime victims are treated with fairness and dignity, are informed of critical stages of the criminal process, and may be present and heard.
