Georgia Adult Protective Services
Adult Protective Services is the state entity that investigates reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults (65 and over) and adults (18 and over) with a disability who live in the community, outside of long-term care facilities. Suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation can be reported to the APS Central Intake Unit toll-free at 1-866-552-4464 (press 3), or online through the Division of Aging Services. APS is not a first responder, so call 911 if someone is in immediate danger.
