Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV)
The Georgia Commission on Family Violence is a state agency created in 1992 to develop and coordinate a comprehensive state plan to end family violence. GCFV supports community Family Violence Task Forces in judicial circuits across the state, certifies Georgia's Family Violence Intervention Programs, provides training, and coordinates the statewide Domestic Violence Fatality Review Project. It works at the systems level rather than as a direct crisis line for survivors.
