Resource Nonprofit Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV)

GCADV is Georgia's statewide domestic violence coalition, representing dozens of certified domestic violence programs across the state. It advocates for survivors and the programs that serve them, provides training and technical assistance, and maintains a directory of local domestic violence centers that offer crisis help, shelter, and advocacy. GCADV points survivors to Georgia's 24-hour statewide domestic violence hotline at 1-800-334-2836 (1-800-33-HAVEN), which connects callers to the nearest local program for free, confidential help.

Who it is for

Survivors of domestic violence anywhere in Georgia who need crisis help or a referral to a local program, and the domestic violence service providers and advocates who serve them.

Focus: Domestic and intimate partner violence

How to reach them

Use the organization's own page for current hours, contact, and any local sites. For safety, Findwell does not publish shelter locations or other confidential addresses.
