Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program
Statewide address confidentiality program that gives survivors a substitute mailing address to use in place of their home address on public records, with first-class mail forwarded through the Attorney General's office to help keep the real address hidden. It is open to adult survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking who are in a location unknown to the person who harmed them, along with eligible family and minor children in the home. Trained enrolling assistants at certified agencies across the state help people apply. The program moved from the Secretary of State to the Attorney General's office in 2021.
