Report Child Abuse or Neglect in Massachusetts (DCF Child Abuse Report)

To report suspected child abuse or neglect in Massachusetts, contact the Department of Children and Families. During business hours (8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday), call the DCF area office that serves the city or town where the child lives. On nights, weekends, and holidays, call the Massachusetts Child Abuse Emergency Line at 1-800-792-5200, which is available 24 hours a day. Mandated reporters must also file a written report within 48 hours.
