Wabanaki Women's Coalition
Tribal domestic and sexual violence coalition serving the Wabanaki tribes of Maine (the Aroostook Band of Micmacs, Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township and at Pleasant Point, and the Penobscot Nation). The coalition increases the capacity of tribal communities to respond to domestic and sexual violence through training, technical assistance, and resources, and connects survivors with tribal advocacy programs.
