Michigan Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting (Centralized Intake) (MI Child Abuse Hotline)

MDHHS Centralized Intake receives reports of suspected child abuse and neglect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To report concerns about a child, call 855-444-3911. Mandated reporters must make an immediate report and follow up in writing as required by Michigan's Child Protection Law. Reports can also be made online through the Michigan Online Reporting System.

Who it is for

Anyone who suspects a child is being abused or neglected in Michigan, including mandated reporters such as teachers, health care providers, and social workers. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first.
