The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General publishes rights and resources for victims of domestic abuse and other crimes, including how protection orders work and where to find help. The office can be reached at 651-296-3353 in the Twin Cities area or 800-657-3787 elsewhere in Minnesota. Crime victims who believe their rights have been violated can also contact the Crime Victim Justice Unit at the Department of Public Safety at 651-201-7300 or 888-622-8799.
