Minnesota Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program (MN Safe at Home)
Safe at Home is Minnesota's statewide address confidentiality program. Participants are assigned a substitute P.O. Box address that they can use as their legal address, and the Secretary of State forwards their first-class mail and keeps their real address confidential. By law, public and private entities must accept the assigned address, and a participant cannot be required to disclose their actual address. The Secretary of State also acts as the participant's agent to receive legal papers. Applications are completed with the help of a trained application assistant.

Survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or trafficking, and others who fear for their safety, who are relocating or have relocated to keep their location private. Contact a victim advocate or the Safe at Home office through the program page to begin.
