North Dakota Vulnerable Adult Protective Services Reporting (ND Adult Protection (VAPS))

North Dakota's Vulnerable Adult Protective Services (VAPS) program responds to reports of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults. To report suspected abuse of a senior or an adult with disabilities, call the statewide line at 1-855-462-5465, option 2 (toll free). All calls are confidential. North Dakota Health and Human Services also offers a web-based reporting tool for non-urgent reports. If a vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, call local law enforcement or 911.

Older adults and adults who are vulnerable to abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation, and the family members, neighbors, and professionals concerned about them. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
