New Mexico Adult Protective Services (APS)

Adult Protective Services at the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department receives and investigates reports of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, and exploitation of adults age 18 and older who are unable to protect themselves. To report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult, call the statewide intake line at 1-866-654-3219. APS is available for emergent reports 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If a vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, call 911 or local law enforcement.
