New Mexico Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting (CYFD Statewide Central Intake)

Suspected child abuse or neglect in New Mexico is reported to Statewide Central Intake (SCI), a 24-hour hotline within the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department, Protective Services Division. To report, call 1-855-333-7233 (1-855-333-SAFE), or dial #SAFE from a cell phone. Under New Mexico law, every person who knows or reasonably suspects that a child is being abused or neglected must report it immediately. In an immediate emergency, call 911.
