New York Address Confidentiality Program (NY ACP)

A free program that gives eligible survivors a substitute Albany mailing address and free mail forwarding so their real address stays hidden in public records. The Secretary of State accepts legal notices on participants' behalf. Apply online, by mail, or with help from an Application Assistance Provider; applications are typically reviewed within 1 to 2 business days.

Who it is for

Survivors of domestic violence, stalking, sexual offenses, human trafficking, and kidnapping who have relocated out of fear for their safety, and certain reproductive health care providers, volunteers, and patients. For questions, call 1-855-350-4595.
