New York Adult Protective Services (NY APS)

Adult Protective Services investigates and helps impaired, vulnerable adults who are at risk of abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation and who live in the community. To report concerns statewide, call the NYS Adult Protective Services Helpline at 1-844-697-3505, available 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Who it is for

Older adults and adults with impairments who may be victims of abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation, and family members, neighbors, or professionals who are concerned about them. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
