NY Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR Child Abuse Hotline)

The Statewide Central Register (SCR), also called the child abuse hotline, receives reports of suspected child abuse and maltreatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The public can call 1-800-342-3720. Mandated reporters use 1-800-635-1522. TDD/TTY callers can use 1-800-638-5163.

Anyone who suspects a child is being abused or maltreated in New York. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first.
