Oklahoma Victims Assistance Grant (VOCA)
The District Attorneys Council is Oklahoma's state administering agency for the federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Assistance Grant. It subgrants funds to nonprofit agencies, government agencies, and American Indian tribes that provide direct services to crime victims, including domestic violence shelters, rape crisis centers, and victim-witness programs. Funding decisions are made by a nine-member Victims of Crime Act Board.
