Rhode Island Address Confidentiality Program (Safe at Home)
The Address Confidentiality Program helps survivors of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, and trafficking keep their location private. Participants receive a substitute Providence-area PO Box address to use in place of their real address, free mail forwarding, and protected-records services, so they can vote, get a driver's license, and handle other matters without revealing where they live. Certification lasts five years and is renewable. Apply through the Department of State; for help call 401-222-5149.
