South Carolina Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting

South Carolina law requires certain professionals, and allows anyone, to report suspected child abuse or neglect. Reports can be made to the South Carolina Department of Social Services 24-hour, toll-free hotline at 1-888-227-3487 (1-888-CARE4US), available around the clock, or online. If a child is in immediate, life-threatening danger, call 911.
