Wyoming Adult Protection Services (Wyoming APS)
Wyoming's Adult Protection Services, part of the Department of Family Services, responds to abuse, neglect, abandonment, exploitation, intimidation, and self-neglect of vulnerable adults, defined as any person 18 or older who is unable to manage and care for themselves or their property without assistance as a result of advanced age or physical or mental disability. To report, contact your local DFS office by phone or in person, or contact local law enforcement. An on-call caseworker is available 24 hours a day. Anyone who believes a vulnerable or older adult in Wyoming is being abused, neglected, exploited, or is unable to care for themselves, including the adult, family, and caregivers.

For immediate danger, call 911. Reporting suspected abuse or neglect of a vulnerable adult is a 24-hour obligation under Wyoming law. Reporter names are kept confidential and good-faith reporters are protected from civil liability.
